Delivered in Russia in 1869, Ivan Abramson emigrated to the united states even though in his 20s. He visited function for Jewish papers. He became thinking about the film business and in 1914 founded Ivan Film Productions. He created several successful movies, and even proceeded to go into business with William Randolph Hearst to create the Image Film Corp. Abramson’s movies were more in the “risque” side–for the times–with game titles like A Kid on the market (1920), The Sex Lure (1916) and Enlighten Thy Girl (1917). He produced his last film, Meddling Females (1924), in 1924. He passed away in NEW YORK in 1934.
