Adam H. Coburn IV, C.A.S., continues to be working skillfully in Production Audio for over two decades, first being a increase operator and a Production Audio Mixer. His participation with film continues to be lifelong – he practically grew up over the pieces of movies starring his dad, Adam Coburn, and produced his performing debut as a kid in Sam Peckinpah’s traditional, Pat Garrett and Billy a child. He was a global traveller, living and doing work for many years in Zimbabwe, Africa in the first 1980’s. He offered on the Plank from the Movie theater Audio Culture for seven years, and was instrumental in creating the CAS Techie Achievement Honours honoring technology in the gear and software utilized by creation and post creation audio mixers. Before shifting to NY Film Academy, from 2008-2015 Adam shared his passion for audio with learners at LA Film College. He teaches the basics of creation audio – tool sound, booming, documenting & mixing up – emphasizing recording performance, as well as the importance of creation sound in improving and helping the Director’s creative vision. Adam lives in LA along with his wife and little girl.
