Horak emigrated to america in 1951 along with his parents and twin sibling. After schooling in Chicago, he came back to Germany along with his family members in 1964. Gratuating from Frankfurt American SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, he went to Ohio University or college, University or college of Delaware (B.A.), and Boston University or college (M.S.), before completing a PhD. in the University or college of Muenster in Germany.
