Created in Schenectady, NY, Leslie Silva grew up primarily in Saratoga, NY, but also lived in Connecticut, Iowa and Georgia, moving frequently because her dad worked like a nuclear engineer. She went to the College or university of Connecticut at Storrs, and received a BFA from the institution of Theatre there, and an MFA through the Juilliard College in NY.
