Blessed in Chicago, Jeff McCarty is a passionate disciple of movie theater since the age group of four, graduating from the USC College of Cinema-Television before composing, producing, and directing The Ballad of PonyBoy, an attribute film which McCarty predicated on his personal experiences like a journeying door-to-door salesman in East L.A. The film continues to be an audience preferred at many U.S. film celebrations, receiving exceptional compliment from many well known filmmakers and journalists including Allison Anders (Mi Vida Loca, Gas Meals Lodging), Nancy Montuori Stein (Stealing Innocence, All Age groups Night time) and Angela Shelton (Looking for Angela Shelton). Furthermore to his are a filmmaker, Jeff McCarty spent days gone by twelve years working Technicolor’s Film Restoration Division, where he personally supervised the repair of many basic movies, including Rosemary’s Baby, Chinatown, THE BEST Parade, and Mr. Hulot’s Vacation. He has frequently instructed and trained film repair to college students from such well known institutions just like the George Eastman Home. McCarty is creating a feature-length documentary entitled Breads and Circuses, a film about the legendary psychedelic rock-band from Brazil, Operating-system Mutantes. His pitch for the task to ITVS on the Big Sky Documentary Film Celebration was chosen as the market preferred, and was highlighted as the cover tale in The Missoulian. In planning for the film, McCarty was asked to immediate a brief film about Operating-system Mutantes for WGBH (PBS Affiliate marketer in Boston) entitled Operating-system Mutantes as well as the Backyard of Notes, that was narrated by indie rock and roll feeling, Devendra Banhart, as directing the creation of the EPK about the music group for Anti-Records.
