Just son of Fiat titan Giovanni Agnelli, he served briefly in the plank of directors from the family-owned team, Juventus, but was interested in mysticism than to make cars. He examined religious beliefs at Princeton, and had taken part in a global time of prayer in Assisi in 1986. Although he appeared burdened with the mantle of his surname, after he was busted in Kenya for medication ownership in 1990, he announced at a press meeting that he was overtaking Fiat. This stunt gained him Giovanni’s ire, who approved over Edoardo and only a nephew. Edoardo dedicated suicide by jumping off a bridge in Turin; Giovanni himself became a member of police in the picture. Edoardo never wedded, but experienced an illegitimate child whom Giovanni by no means identified. John Elkann, the eldest kid of Giovanni’s child, was called Chairman of Fiat S.p.A. this year 2010.
