Mini Biography

Kenneth Clarke was created in Nottingham in July, 1940. His dad was a colliery electrician. Having determined that he wished to be considered a politician from age seven, he approved through Nottingham SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, and read Regulation at Cambridge College or university. He was Chief executive from the Union at Cambridge, and became energetic in Traditional politics – becoming defeated for the chair of Mansfield in 1964 and 1966. Being successful Nottingham Rushcliffe in 1970, he increased through the party rates through the reigns of Edward Heath, Margaret Thatcher and John Main. Following the Conservative’s second defeat in 2001, he stood for the leadership from the party within the resignation of William Hague. He was defeated, ultimately, by the fairly unfamiliar MP, Iain Duncan Smith.
