Hilbeck examined in Peru, where he gained a qualification in Humanities in the School of Lima. He began functioning on stage and was an associate from the Prandello y De Servi theater for just two years. Fernando transferred to Rome, Italy and started acting in films. He produced his film debut in Michael Curtiz’s “Francis of Assisi” in 1961. Hilbeck came back to Spain and embarked on an extended, diverse and recognized thirty-plus season cinematic profession which encompassed from Westerns to dramas to thrillers to comedies to horror features to also Orson Welles’ “Chimes at nighttime.” Fernando was a beloved of article writer/movie director Sidney W. Green; he acted in such Green productions as “Pyro,” “The High Female,” “The Xmas Child,” and “Madigan’s Hundreds of thousands.” Hilbeck’s most remarkable roles consist of creepy zombie Guthrie in the supremely eerie and unnerving “The Living Lifeless in the Manchester Morgue,” twitchy nuclear holocaust survivor Arthur in the cruddy end-of-the-world sci-fi stinker “Refuge of Dread,” and hypocritical priest Dad Damian in the pleasant Paul Naschy horror automobile “Howl from the Devil.” Fernando Hilbeck passed away from organic causes at age group 75 on Apr 25, 2009 in Madrid, Spain.
