Composer, conductor, pianist and arranger. He found the united states in 1921 and became a member of ASCAP in 1962. He was informed in the St. Petersburg Conservatory, and followed Feodor Chaliapin Sr. on the tour of Russia. In america, he carried out the orchestra in the Schenley Theater in Pittsburgh, Pa, and organized for The Don Cossack Chorus, ultimately forming and performing the Heifetz Performers, which made an appearance on radio throughout a US tour in 1935 with an Israeli celebration in 1952, a decade before signing up for ASCAP in 1962. Heifetz also followed Cantor’s Concert Outfit, and organized for movies, radio and tv.
