John was created in Arnprior, Ontario, Canada and raised in neighboring Nepean/Ottawa. He’s resided in Montreal, Toronto, Atlanta and LA. Well traveled, – 25 countries – and spent some time working in 22 of these. John was an associate from the Canadian Trampoline Group before switching sports activities and competing for the Canadian Aerial Freestyle Skiing group. During his competitive times he journeyed the globe and won globe glass medals in both trampoline and aerial snow skiing. Highlights consist of; 4 time Country wide trampoline champ, Bronze medalist on the Globe Trampoline Championships and Sterling silver medalist on the Globe Freestyle Snow skiing Championships. Upon retiring from snow skiing he ventured in to the film industry as an professional and stuntman. He researched acting at a nearby Playhouse in NY and afterward with Warren Robertson in Montreal for 5 years. His initial job was a job playing himself – John Ross, Globe Cup Champ – in Snowboard Academy … which inturn went right to video. Since that time however, John has successfully worked as an actor, writer, director, stuntman, rigger, stunt and combat coordinator. Recently he previously the satisfaction of doing work for Cirque Du Soleil – IRIS on the Dolby Movie theater in LA as an aerial rigger from November 2011 before shows shutting in January of 2013. In 2014 he became a member of Marvel World Live for 2 weeks as Business lead Rigger. This year 2010 he wrote and directed a 10-tiny action brief – THE MAIN ELEMENT – and received the Peoples Choice Award in the 2010 Topanga Film Festival.
