Paris-born Josette Day debuted in films at age five, but soon returned to the level, including a stint as a kid dancer in the Paris Opera. She didn’t go back to the display until she was into her adulthood, and her profession became popular. She played prospects in countless French movies, but is most likely most widely known for the part of Beauty in Jean Cocteau’s Beauty as well as the Beast (1946) (US name: “Beauty as well as the Beast”).
