A graduate from the National Film College, Julian Richards brief movies Pirates (1987) received The GETTING STARTED Award in the Celtic Film Event and Queen Sacrifice (1988) received Best Film in the Uk Short Film Event. Their success got him employment in the BBC where he aimed _”A Mutter of Voices” (1994)_ (Television), a doc-drama about genocide in Rwanda, with Route Four where he aimed twelve episodes from the iconic Liverpool cleaning soap Brookside (1982). In 1994 Richards relocated to LA where he was employed by Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment to adapt the book “Phoning All Monsters”. 2 yrs later he published and aimed his debut feature Darklands (1996), a brooding story of underground paganism which received The Melies D’Argent for Greatest European Dream Film 1997. Richards second feature, conspiracy thriller Silent Cry (2002) was granted The Platinum Remi at Worldfest Houston and his third feature THE FINAL Horror Film (2003) received The Melies D’Argent for Greatest European Dream Film 2005. Richards adopted up with coming-of-age thriller Summer time Marks (2007) which received two BAFTA Cymru Honours and Charles Dickens’s Britain (2009) which starred Sir Derek Jacobi inside a documentary about the life span of Charles Dickens. In 2011 Richards came back to the united states to immediate Shiver (2012), a mental thriller starring Danielle Harris and Casper Vehicle Dien for Picture Entertainment. in 2016 Richards was employed by New Collection Movie theater participate as professional maker for re-make of _The Home by the end of your time (2013)_
