Julia Chalene Newmeyer (Chalane was her mother’s maiden name) was created on August 16, 1933 in LA, California. Her dad was a one-time professional soccer participant (LA Buccaneers, 1926), her mom was a superstar from the Follies of 1920. From an early on age, Julie examined piano, dance and traditional ballet. She graduated from senior high school at age 15, and spent per year touring European countries with her mom and sibling. Julie became prima ballerina for the LA Opera. She went to UCLA studying traditional piano, school of thought and French. Julie visited NY and used for Broadway musicals; in 1955, Julie produced her Broadway debut because the ballerina in “Silk Stockings”. Julie gained acclaim on her behalf function as Stupefyin’ Jones in “Li’l Abner”. Though viewers and critics as well had been stupefied by her visual appearance, that’s not the go with Julie wanted.
