Given birth to David Kimbrough in Hudsonville, MS, in 1930, Junior Kimbrough learned to try out guitar as a kid by hearing the information of such blues performers while Mississippi Fred McDowell. He produced his 1st record, “Tramp”, in 1968, and adopted that with many even more singles, but although he was popular in Mississippi, he was practically unfamiliar outside it. One reason behind that may be that not only is it a performer, he also possessed “juke bones”, small night clubs that catered to dark viewers in the Mississippi Delta and “hill nation” area, and his professions like a performer and golf club owner held him just about confined towards the condition. In 1992 he made an appearance in the documentary Deep Blues (1992), along with such contemporaries as R.L. Burnside and Big Jack port Johnson. He documented his first recording, “FOREVER Very long”, at about this time, for Extra fat Possum Information. The recording, which received accolades from such renowned music mags as “Rolling Rock”, finally brought him towards the interest of audiences beyond the Mississippi region.
