Katherine (Katey) Barrett was created on Dec 9, 1933. She was raised in Hibbing, Minnesota and re-located to Hollywood, California after university to pursue a profession in performing. She made visitor appearances in shows of “My Three Sons”, “Bonanza” and “Dragnet” to mention several. While working being a creation assistant on the tv screen show “Objective Difficult”, Ms. Barrett bought a cheap 35mm surveillance camera. Her curiosity about pictures grew which ultimately resulted in freelance careers in the field that included acquiring photos of her friend’s horses. Tv Producer and race fanatic, Ed Friendly released Ms. Barrett to the globe of horse race and the wonder of Santa Anita Recreation area where she started to consider unique photographs from the competition track and its own horses. Her intensive pictures collection was obtained in 2014 from the Keeneland Library in Lexington, Kentucky to protect for its artwork and historical worth.
