Vocalist/songwriter Kelly Hogan was created in Atlanta, Georgia. Hogan began singing as a kid in Atlanta and performed in pub rings while still in senior high school. In the first 1990s Kelly was a vocalist and guitarist for the music group The Jody Grind; stated group documented two albums and split up after two users were wiped out in a vehicle accident. After performing in lead functions in stage productions of “Appalachian Xmas” and “The Deceased Ocean Scrolls and Additional Chilling Stories of the ocean” at Theatrical Clothing in Atlanta, Hogan continued to become listed on the garage rock and roll revivalist group the Rock and roll*A*Teenagers. She eventually remaining the Rock and roll*A*Teenagers to go after a solo profession and released her debut solo recording “The Whistle Just Dogs Can Listen to” in 1996. Kelly implemented this album using the albums “Under the Nation Underdog” in 2000 and “SINCE IT FEEL GREAT” in 2001. Among the music artists Hogan provides collaborated with are Neko Case (she’s a back-up vocalist in Case’s music group), Drive-By Truckers, Jakob Dylan, The Waco Brothers, Silkworm, Nora O’Connor, Mavis Staples, The Minus 5, as well as the Wee Hairy Beasties. Furthermore, Kelly worked being a bartender on the Chicago, Illinois club The Hideout from 1998 to 2008. She released her 4th album “I LOVE TO Maintain Myself in Discomfort” in 2012. Kelly resides in Evansville, Wisconsin.
