An all-round author of tunes, film scores and tv shows, Carlo Innocenzi was created in Monteleone di Spoleto in 1899. He wedded his lyricist Marcella Rivi (who published the words for most of his strike tunes including “Il Primo Amore”, “Prigoniero di el Sogno”, “Addio Sogni di Gloria”, “Bocca Desiderata” and “Tu M’Incatenerai”.) Innocenzi’s function for the movie theater started in 1938 and protected a wide array of features, documentaries and many re-scores of Hollywood films for Italian launch. From 1958 he started an exhausting period rating the “peplum” series, and was still performing ten Hercules epics a 12 months at 62, when his untimely loss of life happened in 1962. Such was the grade of his symphonic music that many of his cues stayed used in several following Italian epics. In his honour the neighborhood music artists in his city of Monteleone di Spoleto possess created the ensemble Corpo Bandistico “Carlo Innocenzi.” As yet another commemoration the positioning of their head office is now known as the Piazza Carlo Innocenzi.
