Kirill Petrovich Kondrashin was created about March 6, 1914, in Russia. He graduated from your Moscow Conservatory in 1936, and worked well as conductor in the Maly Theater of Opera and Ballet in Leningrad from 1936-1943. He relocated to Moscow in 1943 and worked well as the conductor in the Bolshoi Theater for 16 years. In 1960 Kondrashin was appointed the Creative Director from the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra. He carried out the premiere from the Symphony No. 13 “Baby Yar” by Dmitri Shostakovich and Evgeniy Evtushenko in 1961. He remaining the Soviet Union in 1975 and required a post of primary conductor of Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw Orchestra in 1979. Kondrashin is well known for his several recordings from the music of Soviet composers for Melodiya label through the 60’s and 70’s. He passed away on March 7, 1981.
