Vocalist/songwriter Patricia “Bonnie” Pointer was created on July 11, 1950 in Oakland, California. She’s the next youngest person in the hugely well-known and successful spirit/R&B group The Pointer Sisters. Bonnie started performing in the choir of her dad Reverend Elton Pointer’s chapel. In 1969 Bonnie created a duo with her more youthful sister June known as Pointers, A Set. The group became a trio after Anita Pointer became a member of in 1969 and finally evolved right into a quartet when Ruth Pointer became a member of in 1972. Bonnie documented five albums using the Pointer Sisters and co-wrote such tunes as “How Very long” as well as the 1974 Grammy Award-winning discovery strike “Fairytale.” She remaining the group to go after a solo profession in 1977. In 1976 Bonnie sang vocals on Expenses Wyman’s 1976 recording “Stone Only.” Furthermore, Bonnie co-wrote the music “Bring Your Lovely Stuff Home if you ask me” for Stevie Wonder’s recording “Having a celebration.” In 1978 Bonnie wedded Motown Records maker Jeffrey Bowen and released her self-titled debut single recording; the disco music “Heaven WILL NEED TO HAVE Delivered You” peaked at #11 within the Billboard pop graphs (this music was featured within the soundtrack towards the 1998 film “54”). In 1979 Bonnie released her second recording. Her third recording “If THE PURCHASE PRICE is Best” arrived in 1984. Bonnie sings the tunes “Heaven” and “The Beast in Me” within the soundtrack towards the film “Heavenly Body.” She’s twice reunited using the Pointer Sisters: she went to the wedding ceremony for the unveiling from the celebrity for group within the Hollywood Walk of Popularity in 1994 and became a member of her siblings on stage for the concert functionality of “Jump (For My Appreciate)” in NEVADA, Nevada on New Years Eve in 1996. Bonnie still proceeds to perform from coast to coast and has made an appearance at several Homosexual Pride celebrations through the entire USA. In early 2008 Bonnie Pointer embarked on the concert tour of European countries.
