Leslie A. Jones aka Mister Jones comes from Philadelphia, Pa. After providing in the U.S. Military he relocated to LA CA. There he’d study theatre and film in the Wilshire Theatre Arts Academy. He got his first theatre work in 1991 using the Mojo Outfit portraying Moses Blues in Judi Ann Mason’s award earning play “Indigo Blues”. Playing alto saxophone with this creation gained him acknowledgement as an achieved saxophonist, composer and acting professional. He was offered a LA Weekly Award as well as the Theatre Logue Honor for Best Initial Music. In 1993, he continued to earn the N.A.A.C.P. Honor for Best Assisting Acting professional for his portrayal of Randall, in Matthew Witten’s initial play “Washington Square Techniques”. Immediately after earning the NAACP Honor, Leslie was solid on several tv sitcoms, and episodic tv shows. Leslie takes on sax, flute, percussion & vocals and likes performing along with his cover music group (The G Cash Music group) & his initial music group (Right Hand Guideline) a spoken term music group. Leslie’s favorite stars are Don Cheadle, Idris Elba & Angela Bassett. He appears forward to becoming a member of their rates in the near future.
