After modeling and doing work for a radio station in Akron, Ohio, Lola Albright shifted to Hollywood within the mid-1940s. Regarded perhaps one of the most stylish, sultriest and gorgeous stars in Hollywood, with among the throatiest, smokiest & most exclusive voices available, she starred with Kirk Douglas within the 1949 strike Champ (1949). From 1958 to 1961 she performed nightclub vocalist Edie Hart in the favorite Television series Peter Gunn (1958). She also produced TV guest performances on Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1955), THE PERSON from U.N.C.L.E. (1964) and Airwolf (1984). She performed Constance McKenzie within the night-time cleaning soap opera Peyton Place (1964) after Dorothy Malone became sick and could no more play the function.
