Having always created, Mike returned to college after 8 years in the Air flow Push, where he worked well under the mind writer for the old Course 66 series, who offered him an appreciation and like of screenwriting like a viable talent. At SDSU he also researched under Paul Gregory, renown stage movie director/maker, and Norman Corwin, Dean of American Radio Theatre. At that time, Mike’s first wife, Kendall McLain — whom he’d met and married in Germany while stationed right now there — was also a well-known British actress in NORTH PARK, having experienced many award-winning productions in the Old Globe in NORTH PARK and Orange County Rep. After school Mike and Kendall moved to Hollywood. Nearly immediately a realtor at William Morris got him his 1st job on the sitcom pilot, Mike continuing writing and lastly landed his fantasy job — composing for Hart To Hart. Composing and filmmaking will be Mike’s interest, but his kids are his only loves.
