One of the young directors building waves in the Cornish-British film sector. On leaving university, Mark worked being a promo manufacturer in Soho and, like many film-makers searching for inspiration, came back to Cornwall in 2002 to are an unbiased filmmaker. He obtained critical success along with his initial feature, “Golden Burn off” which gained The Frank Copplestone FIRST-TIME Director’s Award on the Celtic Film and Tv Prize in 2002. He has followed this achievement with numerous documentaries and low-budget feature movies including Guy Who Needed a Visitors Light, “The Rabbit” and “The Lobsterman”, a documentary on the life span of Cornish playwright Nick Darke, all made under his creation company, O-Region located in Truro, Cornwall.
