Given birth to on March 13, 1920, in the coastal community of Ocean Isle City, NJ, to an operating class family members she started her profession in 1939 while a professional gown model for the prestigious William Thornton Company in NEW YORK, New York, shortly after her senior high school graduation. While performing a style display in Manhattan, NY, one fateful day time in 1942 she was plucked out of nowhere with a Hollywood skill scout who brought her out to California for a few screen testing. She made her debut, uncredited, as ‘Miss November’ in the 1943 Dubarry Was a female in the ‘Esquire Lady’ musical number with Crimson Skelton. Although her function was mainly uncredited she made an appearance in over twenty movies between 1943 and 1952, and later on produced a name for herself as a higher demand pin-up lady and cheesecake model rating among the seven out of ten most well-known pin-up ladies during World Battle II.
