Michael Wiese is a manufacturer, director, writer, and publisher. After making the very popular “Equipment Wars” (a Superstar Wars parody), Wiese was an entertainment executive with Showtime and afterwards Vice Leader of Vestron Video where he released comedy lines with Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldberg, Billy Crystal and over 300 other videos. He was in charge of creating video lines for Country wide Geographic, Smithsonian, NOVA and PBS. He oversees Michael Wiese Productions (mwp.com) which publishes a type of more than 140 professional filmmaking books (like the Writer’s Trip, Shot by Shot, Directing Stars, Save the Kitty, Cinematic Storytelling) that are found in the main film studios and in more than 600 film classes across the world. For over 25 years, he has presented filmmaking workshops for Kodak (on the Cannes Film Festival), The AFI, The International Film & Television Workshops and many more across the world. He recently released The “Sacred Sites from the Dalai Lamas” (Tibet), “The Shaman and Ayahuasca” (Peru) and it is in post creation on “Speaking With Spirits” (Bali). He lives in Cornwall Britain along with his family.
