Mike Holoboff was created in Canada, his parents having emigrated there from Russia. In the first ’20s the family members moved to LA. Although most came back to Canada a couple of years later, Mike continued to be in L.A. In the first ’30s he was employed by Walt Disney Studios and done many of its cartoon movies as an associate movie director (although uncredited), such as for example Fantasia (1940), Snow White colored as well as the Seven Dwarfs (1937) and Pinocchio (1940).
