Virginia Graham were only available in Chicago radio in the 1930s. After Globe Battle II she composed scripts for many radio serials, including “Stella Dallas”, “Backstage Wife”, and “Our Gal Weekend”. She was the hostess of tv talk shows in the 1950s to 1970s that are believed forerunners to today’s daytime Television. She was most widely known for the nationally syndicated tv talk shows Gal Chat (1962) on ABC from 1963-1969, as well as the Virginia Graham Present (1970) from 1970-1972. She also co-hosted the NBC radio present “Weekday” with Mike Wallace in 1956.
