Nydia Rodriguez Terracina, a dynamic SAG-AFTRA member since 1974, was created in Santurce, Puerto Rico to Ramon Aurelio Cruz and Margarita R. M. Her dad, Ramon, was the long-standing bodyguard from the past due Governor of Puerto Rico, Luis Munoz Marin. At age three, her parents separated. Nydia transferred to Chicago with her mom and old sister. As a girl she graduated from Patricia Stevens College of Modeling in Illinois while surviving in Chicago in the favorite Humboldt Park community.
