Writer and performer Jillian Lauren was raised in suburban NJ and fled over the drinking water to NEW YORK. She attended NY University for 3 minutes before falling out to function in downtown movie theater, where she performed with Richard Foreman’s Ontological Hysteric Movie theater, among others. Her NY Situations bestselling memoir, Some Young ladies: MY ENTIRE LIFE within a Harem, was posted by Plume in Apr 2010. They have since been translated into fourteen different dialects. Her novel, Pretty, will end up being released from Plume in August 30, 2011. Jillian comes with an MFA in Creative Composing from Antioch School.
