Dr. Paul Gebhard became a member of Alfred Kinsey’s analysis group at Indiana College or university in 1946. He was a co-author from the 1953 bestselling analysis book, Intimate Behavior in the Individual Female, which uncovered sexual encounters of ladies in mid-century America. A Harvard-trained anthropologist, he executed interviews and in addition devised the classification structure for the Institute’s intensive collection of photos. Following death of Alfred Kinsey in 1956, Paul offered as the next director from the Institute and continuing within this position until 1982. Under his command, the institute personnel continuing to carry out interviews and analyze data.
