Mini Biography

Prolific, sharp-featured American character actor of somewhat skeletal and dishevelled appearance, accentuated later on in his career by hair thinning and a scraggly goatee. A previous theology college student, Brocco started his profession playing leading tasks in stock theater. He consequently honed his art touring France, Italy, Spain and Switzerland, before time for the U.S. in 1947, ultimately joining the Federal government Theatre Group. On movies from as soon as 1932, he was at his most reliable portraying eccentrics, researchers, small-time crooks, alcoholics, or anxious, downtrodden little males. His particular forte place in the genre of science-fiction, where he graced the tiny screen on several events as assorted victims (The Outer Restricts (1963), ENOUGH TIME Tunnel (1966), The Invaders (1967)) or aliens (Lost in Space (1965), Celebrity Trek (1966), The Twilight Area (1959)). His periodic film appearances add a dementia patent in a single Flew On the Cuckoo’s Nest (1975) and a uncommon starring part in the dark humor Homebodies (1974), past due in his profession. Like a liberal-minded specific, Brocco was briefly blacklisted through the McCarthy period, but this didn’t prove harmful to his profession over time.
