Pons Maar is originally from Florida where he studied ceramics and visual artwork. After shifting to SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA he became a fixture on the neighborhood arts scene like a visual designer and overall performance artist, and, like a musician, playing in several art/punk rings. At one of is own solo shows of ‘Organic Opponents’ he was noticed by Oscar-winning Audio Developer/Editor Walter Murch and solid as the Lead Wheeler in Walter’s initial directing effort Go back to Oz (1985).
