Iva Kranjc was created on 10 November 1978 in Ljubljana, Slovenia and raised in Ptuj, Slovenia. After major school, she researched at Gimnazija Ptuj (Ptuj gymnasium). There she enroll in a theater group known as Teater III. After senior high school she became students of AGRFT. Her 1st professional play was Curek krvi with a. Artaud, in the 3rd course she received college student Sever Honor for efficiency in Cid. After many tasks in Theatre and Television series, she obtain the part of Simona in Varuh meje (2002). That part brought her a Vesna for greatest female performance.
