Created in Italy, Raffaele Ienco found Canada at age group 4 and discovered the wonderful globe of comics. He’s most widely known for composing and sketching (color and lettering) “Without Existence” (science-fiction/horror) the visual novel from Picture Comics — released September 2008. Before Ienco spent a decade employed in the gaming industry serving as the Lead Environment Artist on popular gaming properties Eternal Darkness and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes produced by Silicon Knights. His work was to produce and design gorgeous and effective 3D conditions and heroes for gameplay and cinematics, develop in-game video camera technology and strategy, and optimize function pipelines. Ienco in addition has created a number of comic properties including Stygmata and WarZone from Entity Comics and WebWitch from Avatar Press. He in addition has done Zen: Intergalatic Ninja and Stargate: Doomsday Globe both for Entity Comics. “Only Wish Remained”, the image book, is a supernatural thriller written and drawn by Ienco and optioned by Platinum Studios of “Males in Dark” fame. Ienco’s latest image book is “Manifestations” (supernatural thriller). Devoid of Existence and Manifestations are both receiving feature film curiosity. Ienco lives and functions in Toronto, Canada.
