Rashid Behbudov was an Azerbaijani singer and professional. He sang in Azeri Turkish, Russian, Persian, Turkish, Georgian, Hindi, Armenian, Urdu, and Bengali among various other languages. Rashid Behbudov was created in Tiflis Tbilisi, Georgia in 1915. His dad, Majid Behbudoglu, was a vocalist aswell. From 1938 to 1944, Rashid shifted to Armenia and proved helpful at Yerevan Condition Philharmonia and Opera Home, and in 1945, upon the invitation of Tofig Guliyev, Rashid Behbudov shifted to Baku. In the same season, he was designated the main function of Asgar in the film “Arshin Mal Alan” The Towel Peddler, predicated on a play by Uzeyir Hajibeyov. His function within this film coupled with his vocal abilities brought him popularity throughout Azerbaijan. Very quickly, Behbudov became also prominent Azerbaijani pop singer. His mix of vocal masterpieces ranged from traditional shows to lyrical tunes. Behbudov’s uncommon vocal talent offered him possibility to travel beyond the “Iron Drape” from the Soviet Union, so that as a vocalist he toured with concert shows in a number of countries from the globe, including Iran, Turkey, China, India, Japan, Argentina, and several additional countries in European countries, Asia and Latin America.
