Asen Kisimov, also called Asen Angelov, (3 Might 1936 – 13 July 2005) was a Bulgarian stage and film professional, singer and radio presenter. He’s most widely known for the well-known tracks, which he sang for the soundtracks towards the children’s movies The Hedgehogs’ Battle (1979), A Trip (1980), Vasko de Gama from Rupcha Community (1986). Kisimov made an appearance in about 30 feature movies between 1956 and 2000, especially Be Content, Ani! (1961), And your day Emerged (1973), The Kindest Person I UNDERSTAND (1973), Something Out of Nothing at all (1979) and Mon Morning hours (1966, released 1988). He’s also known for several stage performances aswell as his radio system “One hour from the audience” that was broadcast from the Bulgarian Country wide Radio for approximately 40 years. For his film, stage and sound works for the kids, Kisimov was known as Bate Asen.
