He studied on the Lee Strasberg Institute in Hollywood with Lee and Anna Strasberg.Various other teachers on the Institute included Walter Lott, Beth Brickell and Howard Amacker.Also studied with Laura Rose at Burbank Studios. His initial function was for manufacturer/movie director Oliver Drake in “They Went BECAUSE OF THEIR Lives” with John Payne & Aldo Ray.Generally there he met his future wife,Oliver’s daughter Lisa.Ric’s dad,Sam Calabrese purchased Monogram Studios and created Colorvision Studios(today KCET).The studio produced “Guy Without Mercy” with Sammy Davis Jr,Stephanie Forces & Adam Caan.It had been released seeing that “Small Moon and Judd McGraw”. After a proceed to NEVADA Ric has continuing to do history function in over 25 films.Ric is well known for his cop portrayals,including Ocean’s 11 and Thinking Guy Too.
