Shawn Batten graduated using a BFA in performing from Syracuse School, where she was an associate from the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Furthermore, she studied contemporary dance at NYU, and performing at NEW YORK School from the Arts. She also went to classes at Atlantic Theater Business in NYC and once again in LA at the same time when the founders of Atlantic Theater Co., William H.
