Vocalist/songwriter Sammy Johns was created Feb 7, 1946, in Charlotte, NEW YORK. He received his 1st guitar as a present-day from his dad at age group nine. He began his own music group, known as The Devilles, while still in his teenagers. The Devilles lasted from 1963 to 1973, performed at numerous local night clubs and recorded several singles around the Dixie label.
