A former executive on the Shaw Brothers studio, See-Yuen Ng still left in the first 70’s and became a director for independent film companies. In 1975, he founded Seasonal Movies Company, a film firm known today for quality movies starring unknowns. The very first film created from Seasonal was THE TRICK Competitors. In 1985, Ng was the first HK manufacturer to effectively combine Hong Kong-style actions in america when he caused Corey Yuen on Simply no Retreat, Simply no Surrender, which starred after that unknowns Kurt McKinney and Jean-Claude Truck Damme. Seasonal’s biggest film up to now was the 1997 strike Bloodmoon, starring three of the greatest martial artists going to the displays, Gary Daniels, Chuck Jeffreys, and Darren Shahlavi.
