Cartoonist, painter, musician, and filmmaker, Sergio Arau considers himself a multi-undisciplined designer. Born and elevated in Mexico he started his entertainment profession as a politics cartoonist and founded the still well-known Mexico City papers, Uno Mas Uno and La Jornada. He produced his musical debut by developing the seminal rock and roll group, Botellita de Jerez, among the initial Rock and roll en Espanol groupings to be agreed upon to a significant record label. After three main LPs, he founded the innovative “Heavy-Mex” group, La Venganza de Moctezuma and released the record, Mi Frida Sufrida in both Mexico and america.
