A versatile filmmaker and acting professional, Seth McClellan has produced narrative and documentary movies and appeared in studio room and independent productions. McClellan produced and directed the documentary Ruler In Chicago (PBS-Chicago and Education Route) on the subject of Martin Luther King’s use the Chicago Independence Motion. He also aimed the brief doc Bevel’s Last Sermon, a deathbed family portrait of the questionable Rev. Adam Bevel, Dr. King’s closest collaborator and architect of main promotions in the Southern Civil Privileges Motion, that screened at celebrations all over the world. He co-produced Chicago Levels, an experimental narrative feature version of Winesburg, Ohio, that Roger Ebert listed in his top-ten Ideal Art Movies of 2010. Then produced, wrote, aimed and starred in the critically-acclaimed narrative feature Innovative Writing. As an actor, he has already established principal jobs in country wide commercials and lead and helping jobs in indie movies which have played many festival, including Sundance, and been theatrically released. McClellan lives in Oak Recreation area, IL and was listed in 2014 among the 50 most important Chicago filmmakers by New Town Magazine.
