Shay was created in Virgina, on Apr 8th 1973 to Adam Ronald Dark brown and Patricia Ann Belcher. She grew up in Columbia, SC. She studied theater at Winthrop School and School of SC. She was called “wittiest” and “most talented” in her SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL Yearbook. Her initial footwear were tap shoes and boots. She discovered her method from suburban SC theatre to LA California’s bright lighting of theatre, tv and film. Jumping directly into comedy, she examined beneath the guidance of Groundlings founder Gary Austin. Gary provides since aimed her one-woman present “Laurel Canyon & Riverside.” She starred in lots of performances using the humor troupe Fries privately.
