Barry Ellsworth was created and raised in NEW YORK. He graduated from Dark brown University or college. In 1987 he founded Equipment Productions with Todd Haynes and Christine Vachon. He collaborated with Haynes on many films, like the underground traditional Superstar: The Karen Carpenter Tale, and Poison, and co-produced many movies with Vachon.
