Simon Cowell was created in Lambeth, London and raised in Elstree, Hertfordshire. He’s the boy of Julie Cowell (née Josie Dalglish), a ballet dancer, and Eric Selig Phillip Cowell, a music market executive. Simon began his profession in the music market employed in the mailroom at EMI Music Posting. He worked well as an archive maker, talent scout and consultant inside the music market before learning to be a judge within the strike British Television show Pop Idol and its own U.S. counterpart, American Idol. Cowell’s scathing remarks were popular during his 10 months like a judge on American Idol.
