Slavna Martinovic was created in Belgrade, former Yugoslavia. She shifted to Hong Kong as a kid where she was raised and completed senior high school. She continued her research on the London University of Style in London. Pursuing her graduation she’s returned to get a season to Hong Kong and began her career popular styling and replace style glossies and displays. In 1998 she visited LA and charmed by the town she managed to get her new residential. In 2008 Slavna launched her very own fashion and jewellery label that premiered in the Berlin Style week and was presented in fashion, Vanity Good, Bunte, Another Publication online, Teenager Vogue and several additional online and printed publications. The collection was also an integral part of the publication “Backstage Style Week Berlin” by teNeues posting. Now located in Frankfurt, Slavna styles for theatre, dealing with directors, choreographers, composers and music artists. She’s been an extended standing collaborator from the Dutch Israeli modern dance company Golf club Man and Roni and has generated costumes for several stages around the world: Schauspiel Köln, Göteborg Opera,Theater Country wide de Chaillot Paris, Taichung Meropolitanl Opera Home, Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam, Konzert Theatre Bern, Staatstheater Mainz, Ballet Moskva, to say but several. In 2014 she designed an attribute film “Beautiful Right now” directed by Daniela Amavia starring Abigail Spencer and Sonja Kinski in Los Angels. She’s freshly completed “La Setting” a multi disciplinary theatre piece by Dutch Japan pianist and a movie director Tomoko Mukaiyama , where she had a pleasure of collaborating with acclaimed architect Toyo Ito who has generated sets for the piece. “La Setting” inaugurated Taichung Metropolitan Opera in Taiwan previous October. Her costume styles were featured in the Bahrushin Condition Theater Museum in Moscow in the exhibition ” The outfit at the change of the Hundred years 1995 – 2015″ curated by Igor Russanoff. She’s completed her MA in Media arts in the University or college of arts in Belgrade in ’09 2009. She lives between Frankfurt and LA and wherever her work might take her.
