Sophie Kotanyi was created in Budapest in 1953. When she was four, she adopted her parents because they fled Hungary for Brussels, where she resided and was raised until the age group of eighteen. She after that emigrated again, selecting to review filmmaking in Berlin. A renowned documentarist, the majority of her movies are about Africa.
