His non-fiction books “The Dark Dahlia Avenger” (2003), “Many Bad” (2009), “Dark Dahlia Avenger II” (2012) and “Many Bad II” (2015) and his play “A Genius for Murder” (2013) all make the case that his dad Dr George Hill Hodel (1907-1999) was a serial killer.
