Mini Biography

The Browse Punks certainly are a hilariously obnoxious and irreverent pop-punk music group from Malibu, California. As both their name and such amusingly wide tongue-in-cheek tunes as “No Excess fat Chicks,” “Teenage Ladies,” “Can’t Get yourself a Tan,” and “Shark Assault” recommend, the group gleefully poke fun at Western Coastline Southern California seaside/surf tradition with an absolute mixture of unapologetically brash rude’n’crude laughter, fierce, but still catchy pop punk musical plans, and a blithely immature attitude. The Browse Punks were created by vocalist/drummer Dennis Dragon and vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist Drew Steele in 1976 (Dennis may be the child of mentioned symphony conductor Carmen Dragon as well as the sibling of Daryl Dragon of the favorite 70’s pop duo the Captain and Tannille). The additional original music group users are: Tony Creed (business lead acoustic guitar/blues harp), John Hunt (bass), and John Heussenstamm (business lead acoustic guitar). The Browse Punks released their debut solitary “My Seaside/My Influx” in Australia within the Shelter Information label. Their 1979 self-tilted debut recording became an instantaneous cult traditional. The Browse Punks released four extra albums: “My Seaside” in 1980, “Local people Just” in 1982, “Oh No! Not really Them Once again!” in 1988, and “Party Bomb” in 1988. The group sold-out their first display in the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. The Browse Punks had been renowned for his or her extremely crazy and uninhibited concert events throughout their early 80’s heyday. These were street handled by Michael Parenti from 1980 to 1983. The music group was initially designed to come in the 1987 humor feature “Back again to the Seaside,” but alas this by no means had become. The Browse Punks show up as themselves in the documentaries “Skateboard Madness” and “Urgh! A Music Battle.”
