Given birth to in China in 1947, Ann Hui moved to Hong Kong when whe was even now in her youngsters. After graduating in British and Comparative Litereature from Hong Kong University or college, whe spent 2 yrs at London Film College. Time for Hong Kong, she worked well as an associate to director Ruler Hu before becoming a member of TVB to immediate episode series and brief documentaries. In 1977, she created and aimed six movies for the ICAC and in 1978, she produced three shows for the RTHK series, Below the Lion Rock and roll. Shen the produced her debut feature document, THE TRICK, in 1979.
